waiting for the party!

here at Georgia belle, the Independent living senior home, where I live, the time is now about 5 PM and the day is the last day of 2011. In a few hours the Party will begin! 2012 will enter and some people, out there, who follow the Mayan calendar, will now begin to bite their nails!
[there are forums where there is a post every week telling how the world will end next week, and *every* week there is such a post!]

So I wish everyone a happy new year and maybe it be benevolently interesting.

I do not dare to take a picture of the people, later, at this party as "no one is ready" for a photo!
between the older generation being more reluctant to have their picture taken and the fact that they, now, would "have to spend an hour or three getting ready for the photo", i do not take pictures of most seniors.
I guess they want to be known for their 30s face!
their 80s face needs *some* preparation, probably!

But come 8:30 and there will be people dancing and eating and socializing. Does not matter if someone is 85, many here 80+ still can dance. some just sit and watch, thinking of their youth.
Be young in heart.
