welcome to my blog!

hi all.

July 30th 2009.

Welcome to my blog. I now have, at least for a while, cable Internet, so that I can post from my quiet room overlooking a Live Oak tree, here in semi-tropical Tallahassee, Florida, USA.

While the title of my blog infers that I have had many Near death experiences, or "NDEs" as they call them, I really write about my life *now*, today, in light of these spirit given experiences.
[these were not "really" NDEs; they were Lucid dreams and visions, Out of body experiences, OBEs,
where guides, angels, spirits took me to see places in the heaven, afterlife, worlds.]
Some of these visions and dreams involved prophecies and prophetic events, like of a prophecy of earthchanges and "end times"! Then there were the "alien abductions", where I was abducted all right, but out of my body in my "sleep": I dream-awoke to find myself on an operating table with several "greys" around me and they were getting ready to implant something into my body and they were surprised as some other alien group had already beat them to it and had already given to me an implant!
I have many interests, some of which will appear here on my blog. I take photos with my Canon a610 and post them on my flickr account.
http://flickr.com/photos/freestone
I like to take photos of the clouds outside of my window from the 4th floor: amazing what beauty is in these clouds, especially during the 5 month tropical rainy season, otherwise, images of the local Tallahassee scenes.
I even twitter, please follow me
http://www.twitter.com/freestonew

many interests....
Autism, metaphysics, caving, computer games, console games, fantasy.
Also I read the spiritual alternative news and forums.
There are many Internet pages that I read, read about Rudolf Steiner, Swedenborg, Kardec, spiritualism, unbanda, Santeria, reverse speech, ra material, and psychic, paranormal, spirit writings, mediumship, channeling, in general.

There. my spiritual autobiography.
Me?
I am now 68 years old, single, I grew up in Interlaken, NY, the home of the Twilight Zone!
really!!
Rod Serling wrote most of his stores for the Twilight Zone, there. The Town is featured in many of the episodes!
I have lived in Tallahassee, on and off, for years, attending Florida State University. Now I live at Georgia belle apartments for Independent Living. A nice place for those 62 and older.

So welcome to my blog, enjoy it.

the evening storm

the evening storm, originally uploaded by freestone.

the evening storm
from my 4th floor window yet another storm.
[Tallahassee, Fla, has about 80 to 90 thunderstorm days a year!]
Time is about 6:30 PM, and as I took it, took the card out of my 610a powershot, uploaded it, the window sky was now clear!

the temperature, now at 7 PM, is about 85 degrees and oooh is it humid. the sun is near to setting, thus the foreground appears darkly, the light illuminates the behind, from the west.

minutes!

*this* is the place where it rains on one side of the road and the other side remains dry!

This season, normally, runs until the end of September, mornings and days of, like of this afternoon: temp is 88 degrees and about 95% humidity, lets see....about 82 degrees of dew point!!

I like it!

a bit dry and cool so far this year, here. Canadian cool fronts make it here, unusual. Got to 64 degrees last week, an ALL TIME RECORD, for this date in Tallahassee!

why does "end times" always infer, "punishment for us all"?!

then there is *this* from the godlike productions!

......... the Three Gorges Dam is a disaster waiting to happen).

Why hope/visualize for the dam to break in order to validate a belief in himself? Is that worth millions of lives?
oops!

the poster has a point. always always there is another side.

the other side reflects my own intuition that many people have the end times ALL WRONG!!
Not that there might be no end times, but that the Spirit motive for the earthchanges might not be what many think that they are!

raging wind seems to me, after reading a bit more about his visions on www.godlikeproductions, that to me he seems a bit "raging"!
the near-standard NA statement that "white man has raped the earth and soon he is gonna PAY big time", I read too too often!
problem is...that while he *has* "raped the earth", the raping of the earth might not have anything at all to do with the earthchanges that could be called "end times".

there are better words for this than "end times" but i cannot think of them so I will just use "end", here!

I have been shown, over and over, in my daily life walking around the streets of a large city where people often are driving around angry , that if I get angry about something and ESPECIALLY if I ever get angry and imagine a storm or earthquake taking out a city, right around me on the street I will, say, smell rotting garbage or maybe run into another angry person.
this furthers my Intuition that the "end" does not mean, "end by angerfire or by "Sodom and Gomorrah" "righteous punishments by the Lord"!

the end times/earthchanges, whether 100% of humanity or maybe only 20% to 60% of humanity, infer to ME, a Knowing that these Changes are GRADUATION DAY FOR THE HUMAN RACE!

Now, is graduation day from a high school an anger thing?! should not be. should be a time of joyous "we all made it and I can now go onto a new future of interesting possibilities"!

sometimes a dentist will extract a child's babytooth, if it is slow in coming out: volcanoes, earthquakes, asteroids speed up the process of Extraction!

one does not have to be a NA Indian to have this "you all will burn for your sins" attitude; I have often seen this with new agers and even in the diet books of vegans and raw food people.

repeat: I do not feel that the end times has to be where a God punishes us all for doing or not doing something! Most of the bad stuff happens as a natural law bouncing back to us something feedback looping that was done to the environment. like: over plant a field and then you exhaust the soil.

I feel that there IS a "score line" on the "candy bar" where one age rolls over to the next and there almost has to be a physical manifestation of this. like of Walter Cronkite's death, an expected death, yes, but then again he was sort of a symbol for a small age!

what I will intend to do, for the next few years that I am permitted to live here, is to *try* to not be "negative" and get caught up into people's reactivities around me and where I then re-pass this anger back out as some imagination about, like, "oh a volcano will erupt and take out such-and-such city"! or even just to get angry with these people, where this anger is not my own, if i make it my own, i add to the collective problem.

Spirit thusly is saying to me, "live you life, Freestone, as if the horizon of time opens up to infinite possibilities and joy, happiness for me, good feelings of love and goodness that will soon abound and that even the bitter homeless and jailed felons and kid=sexers will also be helped to become healed and to learn how to love and to accept love."!

*that* is what I feel Spirit intends for the human race, not punishments for mistakes made, as one must make mistakes upon the canvass of life or else there would be no learning's; the only "sin" would be to never learn from your mistakes and to do them over and over until some physical feedback "out there" throws it back into your life!

So at my 68 years of life, I will play my computer games, surf the Internet, relate with people happily as i can, and constantly feel that life is benevolently strange and interesting and that I will learn as much as I can, in my few years left, in my living in the senior Home, here in Tallahassee.

the Lake city Mural

from
HERE

Saturday Mornings with Lucy>HERE
Adventures in Undiscovered Florida

As I have mentioned, in my recent post, I like this mural!
My jaw dropped a bit when I turned around to look at the open parking lot where some street store had been demolished and low and behold this mural filled the length of the side of a building.
Here is a symbol of a large town rebuilding its downtown after the Mall was built, out by the Interstate, not *just* an Interstate, mind you, this Interstate location is where I-75 Meets I-10!
[the major Miami-Atlanta road meeting the Jacksonville- New Orleans road!]

I brought this post over from another blog, I want to make sure that this mural image does not get lost.

One of the best murals that I have ever seen! Looks really "3-D" when I stand before it.

The mural was placed there in early 2008, to celebrate "the little people", when the mall came in about 1980, most of All of the downtown businesses left to go to this mall, leaving downtown empty. But after a few years the buildings had small shops owned by "real" people: oh the displays are amateur, the owners sometimes have only a grade school education, but in this blue-collar rural town, there is not one Franchise to be seen, here.
There is a real soda bar [fountain] antique shops, cafes, etc....

the morning thunderhead

the morning thunderhead, originally uploaded by freestone.

the morning thunderhead
8 am thunderhead seen from my 4th floor bedroom at georgia belle, where I live. I wake up to views like this!

The middle of July, the rain season is somewhat here, this shower will disapate in an hour or two but there could be more in the afternoon.

The other day the temperature was over 90 degrees and the humidity might have been all of about 90%
lets see....a 80 degree dewpoint temperature, anyone?!
Tis like this almost every day, for all of the 4 to 5 summer months, here! "subtropical" they call this climate, but *really* what this means is that there is a warm temperate winter and a tropical rainy season summer.

no summer for the Northlands

no summer for the northlands, I guess.
I heard this am that temps were in the 30s in Michigan, upper section.

downhill from now, middle of July. I warned my aunt in upstate ny, this morning, by letter, to expect a hard freeze as early as late August and maybe snow by late september; she lives near Syracuse, ny.

the whole Northern states of the USA.

no tropics this years for the south, means no hurricanes at all if this pattern persists. No rain from them either.

Strange, this.
I suspect that this pattern will go on for years and years, summer is *OVER* for many, for years and years....

sigh.

so many strange deaths, of late: WHY?!

hi all

more and more unusual deaths. I read of them over and over, usually in the small nearby town papers and sometimes with Micheal Jackson dying at 50 in his home followed by ANOTHER media man who dies in his home at age 50!

but this one, here, takes the cake!!
scares me big time!

Deadly Tornado Finds Oklahoma Fishermen
Posted: Jul 10, 2009 10:55 PM EDT
Updated: Jul 11, 2009 12:42 PM EDT
By Ashli Simms, The News On 6

PONCA CITY, OK -- Three Oklahoma men left what weather experts call the most tornado prone county in the country to visit Lac Suel, Ontario on an annual fishing trip. Now two of the men are dead and one is missing after a deadly monster twister found them in Canada.

The News On 6 traveled to their hometown of Ponca City to learn more about the victims.

Bernie Jackson, Stan Hollis, and Dennis Kincaid went up to a cabin on Ontario's Fisherman's Cove for a little male bonding and a lot of fishing. No phone, no television, and no way to know the storm was barreling down on them.

"If they had been killed in a car wreck I could more readily accept it. If they had fallen out of the boat and hit their head on a rock," said Lester Freeman, friend of the victims.

"But a tornado in Northern Ontario - it's very difficult to accept."

"From what the police woman told us it went through so fast that nobody even knew what had happened to them," said Sheryl Best, Bernie Jackson's sister-in-law.

Canadian authorities found Jackson's and Hollis' bodies. Kincaid is still missing.

Related Story 7/10/2009: 2 Ponca City Men Killed in Canada Tornado, 1 Still Missing

All three men had deep roots in Ponca City. Two of them were educators at Ponca City's east junior high. The third was a local businessman who championed Ponca City.
northern ontario has as much tornado chances as maybe northern Alaska has to have a hurricane and here three men came from the most tornado-prone county in the usa to die in "male bonding" to a tornado!

more and more strange deaths where synchronetic events happen.

I KNOW, feel, that this Means Something!
????
I am tempted to say, "the end times is very very near", but that is fear mongering, is it not? pre-rapture maybe. "rapture in slow motion"?
are these deaths just the synchronistic-ness that is in the news, where the daily synchronetic events do not make the news: synchronisms are increasing for all of us!
if so: then the "tipping point" of us all passing from 3-D world to higher dimensional world, is about here!

does anyone know of other strange deaths, of late?!

Michael Jackson: my views

Micheal Jackson, my views, briefly, on my judgement of him.

He, this man, influenced a LOT of people and many here now shake their heads about his face operations and his seeming manner towards little boys.
I see him as not really having a childhood, as his parents "stole" it from him as he was Groomed to be a
Star upon the stage; and not to have a real self of his own. *Then* he lost his adulthood too! he was not permitted to live like a normal man as everyone around him seemed to dig him deeper into "their" idea as to whom he should be.

but under this all was this immense talent and a very good soul! *they* could not pave this over with their Agendas for him!!
So here he was, a Light truly, and everyone around him
wanted to take this light and claim it *as* for their own light, to direct His light towards their own ends!
only a few were Empowered by his light, TRULY empowered; most people just wanted this Light to amplify what "ego-illusion" that they had.
[like giving money to an alcoholic only to see this drinker use the money for more whiskey! what the Giver wanted was for this drinker to reach out and to grow towards a positive life of happiness and intelligence!]

I feel that he had an incredible welcome in heaven, and that he will be appreciated there. And...when you and I get there, we will see him Perform and sing, filled with the light of Spirit, a light that was dimmed, here on earth!

storms!

hi all....
getting *that* time of year, folks, where "gaming" takes a very back seat to a Florida summer and anyone who lives in Florida knows what I mean!
while Lakeland gets 100 thunderstorm days a year, Tallahassee, where I live, gets about 85 thunderstorm days a year! That is DAYS, not number of storms and nearly every single ligthning stroke is "cloud to ground" I just saw a doozzee of one about an hour a go and there must have been 3000 lightning strokes with that one and 100 foot visibility. watch them lights flicker and the week before the official people tell us all that in our two counties there were over 6000 [!!] lightning strokes, during one storm and all of them were cloud to ground! trees, homes, zapped, there were several fires last week as houses burned after being struck!
does anyone here live in such a Zone?!
I once saw from a bus window lightning take out each and every power pole, in a shopping mall parking lot, 1,000,000 volts hitting every 150 feet, in about five minutes.
"they" tell me that around here there are 8 to 16 lightning hits PER square Kilometer every year!!
play games?!!
my window makes a good view!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/freestone/3671884372/http://www.flickr.com/photos/freestone/3660060128/

In the North, in around my upstate new york home, many of the lightnings were "cloud to cloud" harmless.
so probably I will watch the light show, instead of playing Oblivion, morrowind, etc, until fall, on many nights!

THE horrifying state of pop superstar Michael Jackson in his final days can be revealed by The Sun today.
Harrowing leaked autopsy details show the singer was a virtual skeleton — barely eating and with only pills in his stomach at the time he died.

His hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds — believed to be the result of injections of narcotic painkillers, given three times a day for years.

And a mass of surgery scars were thought to be the legacy of at least 13 cosmetic operations.

The examination showed the 5ft 10in star — once famed for his on-stage athleticism — had:

PLUNGED to a “severely emaciated” 8st 1oz. It is understood anorexic Jackson had been eating just one meagre meal a day.

Pathologists found his stomach empty aside from partially-dissolved pills he took before the painkiller injection which stopped his heart. Samples were sent for toxicology tests.

MICHAEL JACKSON

Sleepless Jackson begged me for drugs - nurse
July 1, 2009

By Lynn Elber

Los Angeles - Michael Jackson was so distraught over persistent insomnia in recent months that he pleaded for a powerful sedative despite warnings it could be harmful, says a nutritionist who was working with the singer as he prepared his comeback bid.

Cherilyn Lee, a registered nurse whose specialty includes nutritional counseling, said on Tuesday that she repeatedly rejected his demands for the drug, Diprivan, which is given intravenously.

But a frantic phone call she received from Jackson four days before his death made her fear that he somehow obtained Diprivan or another drug to induce sleep, Lee said.

While in Florida on June 21, Lee was contacted by a member of Jackson's staff.

"He called and was very frantic and said, 'Michael needs to see you right away'. I said, 'What's wrong?' And I could hear Michael in the background ..., 'One side of my body is hot, it's hot, and one side of my body is cold. It's very cold'," Lee said.

"At that point, I knew that somebody had given him something that hit the central nervous system," she said, adding, "He was in trouble Sunday and he was crying out."

Jackson did not go to the hospital. He died on June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest, his family said. Autopsies have been conducted, but an official cause of death is not expected for several weeks.

"I don't know what happened there. The only thing I can say is he was adamant about this drug," Lee said.

Following Jackson's death, allegations emerged that the 50-year-old King of Pop had been consuming painkillers, sedatives and antidepressants. But Lee said she encountered a man tortured by sleep deprivation and one who expressed opposition to recreational drug use.

Anorexia nervosa, bulimia - medical causes of eating disorders - symptoms, treatment, diagnosis

Starvation Response

-----The human response to starvation is a fascinating phenomenon. Being aware of these adaptive responses to malnutrition is key to understanding the behaviors associated with anorexia nervosa.

Starvation induces many physiological and behavioral changes in the human body. As body mass drops, metabolism slows, to conserve energy and resources. Severely malnourished individuals may develop amenorrhea (in females), bradycardia, lanugo hair, hypothermia, reduced bowel motility, hypothyroidism, etc.

Many of the symptoms of malnutrition may be confused with the symptoms of medical illness, since there can be overlapping symptoms. In most eating disorder programs, bloating, constipation, early satiety, and abdominal distension are assumed to be due to effects of starvation. Starvation can also affect blood chemistry, which may complicate interpretation of test results. If the attending physician does not consider the possibility of underlying illness, these cues may be missed, assumed to be due to malnutrition.

In like fashion, the behavioral changes induced by malnutrition may be misinterpreted if the therapist does not acknowledge the effects of malnutrition on human behavior. The normal, adaptive responses to malnutrition are often interpreted as psychiatric disorders.

Bingeing may be viewed by the therapist as maladaptive behavior, when in fact it may be a normal adaptive response to caloric restriction. Certainly, this behavior is seen in opportunistic social carnivores such as dogs, which "wolf" down their food in large quantities, oftentimes vomiting it up soon after. Caloric restriction, whether imposed by famine or self-imposed due to dieting, will tend to increase the likelihood of this behavior. In terms of evolutionary biology, this behavior would be a healthy adaptive response to a dwindling food supply, as it would not only maximize caloric uptake but also, once swallowed, exclude access for competitors. When resources are scarce, natural selection favors individuals who seize opportunities for resource acquisition, even if they do not have rightful possession. Thus, the urge to binge while experiencing caloric restriction is to be expected.

The phenomenon of impassivity, irritability, and hyperactivity may be interpreted by the therapist as a manifestation of obsessive-compulsive disorder or depression, when in fact these behaviors are likely normal adaptive responses to starvation honed by millions of years of natural selection. Normal individuals facing severe dietary restriction develop an obsessive preoccupation with obtaining and consuming food, and this shapes impulsive behavior such as hoarding, binging, or stealing food. This healthy adaptive response would give a greater certainty of securing nutrition, and thus survival. Of course, for the individual who cannot eat due to medical illness, all these behaviors may be present, yet the consumption of sufficient food remains an impossibility.

The phenomenon of excessive exercise, agitation, and restlessness observed in many anorexic patients may also be a normal adaptive response to caloric restriction. Most mammals become restless and agitated when experiencing hunger, and most increase foraging activity when food supplies dwindle. In the research lab, this restlessness is called "semi-starvation induced hyperactivity." Researchers working with rats on calorie-restricted diets noticed that those eating less daily ran between 2.8 and 5.3 miles more than the other rats. Some of the rats on restricted diets ran themselves to death. This response to starvation would increase the likelihood of survival in famine conditions where competition for resources would be intense. In the lab rat's situation, if no food is added to the cage, the increased activity does not result in acquisition of nutrition. In like fashion, for the anorexic patient with a digestive disease, the hyperactivity does not lead to food intake, since the underlying disorder has either suppressed the appetite or produces gastrointestinal distress paired with food intake
there.

my theory is that Micheal Jackson was so restless that he demanded these drugs so that he could sleep. but the REAL problem was the reason why he was so restless and could not sleep; he was starving!! his body wanted him to get up and go somewheres and eat!

this "simple", to me, reason, was one of the things that began this cascade unto death! Now *why* was he starving, eating only one small meal a day, is something that is not known by me. An example of how small things grow into huge problems! Shades of Anorexia!

hi all.

Here I took a photo of some pretty clouds as the sun sets to the west, the light underlighting the clouds.
Often pretty sunsets here in tallahassee.

Cirrus clouds, especially the cirrus that remains from thunderstorms, tend to look reddish at sunset.
