The oncoming storm. Note how the clouds are actually swirling in a near-tornado way. This means that the thunderhead cloud, above, must be very fast grwing, probably up to 50,000 feet high, by now.
The low scud clouds, on the other hand, are right down so low that they are nearly touching the tree tops!
Probably nearly two inches of rain fell from this storm.

That "hole" glows with an inner light, all of the 95 degree air rising upwards to cool and to create yet more cloud, more rain.
